IPA Interest-Free Student Loans

The International Psychoanalytic Association (IPA) has established a student loan program to provide interest-free loans to students in psychoanalytic training. The IPA student-loan program is administered by the IPA Committee on Student Loans, and is offered by the IPA to students in IPA-recognized societies. "IPA-recognized" institutes are psychoanalytic training institutes operating under the aegis of IPA component societies in accordance with the educational standards of the IPA.

All "IPA candidates" are eligible for student loans. "IPA candidates" are matriculated students in programs of training leading to certification in psychoanalysis and, upon graduation, to membership in the IPA. All matriculated students in psychoanalytic training at CIPS societies are "IPA candidates" and are eligible for student loans.
